Menopause Workshop with Lulu Winfield
Saturday 29th June | 2.30- 4.30pm
Join Lulu for a special workshop open to anyone going through the stages of menopause. Enjoy a 70 minute practice, that includes dynamic movement, weight bearing poses and isometric contractions in familiar asana to strengthen muscle and stimulate bone growth and density. This work is punctuated with restorative poses to reduce stress and cortisol levels, so important at this time and an essential way of working with our bodies.
Movement is accompanied with breathwork to calm, cool and soothe and we finish with a sumptuous Savasana to hold you with loving care. You will also be invited to join a WhatsApp group of fellow ‘QueenAgers’ to stay in touch after our session. Come and join a friendly, inclusive and supportive group and feel better together. No previous experience required.
