Are you new to yoga and want to learn the foundations of Power Yoga? Do you want to deepen your understanding of the basic postures, breathing, and foundations of your yoga practice?
Join Caroline for a detailed Power Basics Workshop where she’ll focus on breaking down the key postures in Power Yoga, to help students gain a better understanding and confidence in their practise. This is a great opportunity for newer students who would like to improve their practise in a supportive environment or a seasoned yogi that would like to bring a more detailed focus to their foundation postures.
The workshop will look closely at Downward dog, chataranga, balancing poses, and keeping your inversions and forward folds safe. Each posture will be reviewed in detail, breaking down the technique and alignment of the posture. Students will be given the opportunity to ask any questions they may have surrounding the postures, transitions or breath.
This is an ideal workshop to then take these tips and techniques and apply them to your classes here at The Power Yoga Co. studio! Any level is welcome as there will be variations and modifications for every student.
Caroline is extremely passionate about teaching yoga and feels very lucky that she is able to do this as her job! She hopes that students will find her classes to be not only challenging but also fun and playful. She originally trained 4 years ago with Duncan Peak in Australia and since then has followed other teachers such as Tiffany Cruikshank and Stewart Gilchrist. What she loves to see the most is students progressing, changing and on a journey to meeting their full potential on and off the mat!
