Sam discovered yoga in his mid twenties, initially as a tool to manage the physical impact of endurance sports on his body. Over several years he was drawn slowly into a more embodied, mindful practice founded on breath and increasing felt sense.
This time coincided with an intense Finance & Start-Up career; increasingly yoga became a safe haven in the storm, offering calm, release and movement in a life sorely lacking in those experiences. Sam credits yoga with building sufficient self-awareness to ultimately leave his career and train as a teacher at The Power Yoga Company.
Focusing on the breath and physical sensations as they arise in the body, Sam aims to teach dynamic, accessible classes, guiding students inwards to their inner calm and strength.
