Power of Slow Flow

Nix teaches a mindful and balanced vinyasa flow class, focusing on our connection to the breath and becoming present to the sensations of the energetic body. Expect classes to be woven with pranayama and postures that emphasise building strength and stability within.

Whilst her classes are largely centred around the physical practice of yoga, Nix wants to break down the perception of Western yoga being only physical and will often draw on the quieter practices from Patanjali’s 8 limbs of yoga. Offering moments of stillness and contemplation within class. Nix is fascinated by yogic philosophy, and how we might use this ancient wisdom in a modern context.

She has an acute eye for detail and loves to guide her students through creative sequencing, taking you out of your overactive mind and into a meditative flow. Nix studied with Noelle Connelly in Sydney, with direct lineage to BKS Iyengar and K. Pattabhi Jois. After witnessing the incredible impact yoga has had on her daily life, Nix is honoured to share this beautiful practice with others.
