After working in a stressful job in the city for over 20 years, Maud made the transition to work with yoga, yoga therapy and Thai yoga massage on a full-time basis. She is very passionate about the transformational power of yoga, because of the direct and tangible impact it had on her life. She came to yoga relatively late and at a time that she was dealing with a lot of physical and emotional struggle.
As she wants to teach yoga to those who could benefit just like she has (people with poor posture, suffering from anxiety and stress, people with chronic illnesses, etc.) she studied Integrated Yoga Therapy at Kripalu, USA. She completed her 300 hrs Advanced Teacher of Therapeutic Yoga in February 2019. She has also completed Yin Yoga (100 hrs), Clinical Somatic Movement level III and is a MyoFascial Release practitioner, all of which enables her to understand the body on many levels. She is currently studying a Qigong Teacher Training (200 hrs).
She has created the website Belly Full of Yoga to try and inspire people with chronic stress and illness to take up yoga.
