Restorative Workshop with Marta Decarli
Sunday 22nd October | 2.30- 4.30pm
Many people come to yoga for the physical benefits as much as for the positive mental impact. And whilst movement is fundamental in our lives, so is stillness. In this workshop, we will explore the wonders of stillness, something so unfamiliar to our everyday life.
To begin, we will ease into the space by settling the body and the mind, using gentle movements and breathing techniques. You will then be guided into a sequence of floor-based restoring poses, allowing the body to be supported and comforted by the help of bolsters, blankets and other props.
The workshop will end with a guided Yoga Nidra practice, or Yogic Sleep. Everyone is welcome, beginners included.
