To invert, to float, and to fly: inversions and arm balances are a beautiful balance of power and playfulness. They are a harmony of strength and grace, linking breath with body, and challenge us mentally, physically and emotionally. But what makes this family of postures sometimes frightening or daunting is fear and the unknown.

In our Spring Masterclasses, we are going to break down the fundamental building blocks of arm balances and inversions into digestible components in order for the unknown to become known. Beginning with a juicy flow, we’ll look at drills, areas of engagement, progressions and variations, with plenty of playtime and one-on-one guidance. You’ll gain the tools and techniques needed to safely integrate inversions into your personal practice.

Modifications will be given to those who are still working towards their first balance or inversion and more advanced variations will also be given so everyone will be challenged, wobbles are welcome, it’s all part of the journey.
