The workshop will start with a 90-minute Dharma Yoga practice, a graceful form of Hatha-Raja Yoga, which starts with a vinyasa warm-up but also includes more stationary poses we spend time to work on. It will include some pranayama exercises, a series of stretching, balancing, back-bending, twisting, and inverted postures. Alix will show you ways of gradually working towards more advanced forms of asanas, focusing on back-bending postures. All levels are welcome as many options will be offered.
We will conclude the workshop with a 30-minute Yoga Nidra. Yoga Nidra is a deep-rooted relaxation technique that restores one’s inner balance by breaking free from the stress of life. This result occurs on an unconscious level as your bodily systems become healthy, balanced and refreshed. Yoga Nidra is a form of active meditation and will leave you feeling renewed and recharged.
Suitable for students of all levels, from beginner to lifelong practitioners and accessible to all.
