Join Alix for a Dharma Yoga practice and experience the joy of going upside down. The two-hour practice will start with breathing / pranayama techniques, to purify the nervous system and calm the mind.

We will continue with the asana practice, which will be a complete practice, but include many opportunities to go upside down. There won’t be drills but there will be repetitions – with tips and tricks! If you can already easily invert, variations will be offered, some typical to Dharma Yoga, a practice always full of fun and originality. Inversions have so many benefits – they improve oxygen and blood circulation in the body, increase immunity by allowing lymph to travel more easily and pick up toxins, they improve our balance, core strength and confidence, while keeping us humble.

We will finish with a guided relaxation to bring on a deep sense of calm, balance, peace and invigorated energy to all students. This workshop is open to all levels, but not complete beginners. It is an opportunity to discover and practise Dharma Yoga, ‘a devotional practice that emphasises good health, a clear mind and a kind heart’ developed by legendary Yoga Master and living Yogi example Sri Dharma Mittra.
